EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (WCCO) — It appears a late-night stop at McDonald’s in Eden Prairie led to the DWI arrest of Vikings’ fullback Jerome Felton, according to police.
Authorities say they received a report of an intoxicated driver in the drive-thru lane around 3 a.m. Saturday at the McDonald’s on 598 Prairie Center Drive in Eden Prairie.
After conducting field sobriety tests, Felton was arrested for second-degree driving while intoxicated with an aggravating factor of refusal to take an alcohol breath test and third-degree DWI with an aggravating factor of one prior DWI conviction within 10 years. He was also accused of careless driving.
Felton was booked into the Hennepin County Jail.
