Officers Find 1 Man Dead After N. Mpls Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man is dead after a shooting Tuesday evening in north Minneapolis, police say.

Sgt. Steven McCarty said the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of 26th Avenue and Dupont Avenue. Police also received a possible suspect description from a 911 caller. However, that description has not been made public.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead shortly after.

No arrests have been made, McCarty said. But two suspects are being questioned by investigators.
