BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota has a new state record white bass.

The Game and Fish Department says Charlie Vang of Brooklyn Park, Minn., reeled in a 4-pound, 10-ounce white bass from Devils Lake on Sunday.

The 19-inch fish broke the record of 4 pounds, 8 ounces. That fish also was caught at Devils Lake, in 2000.
