FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (WCCO) – Two people were killed in a single-car crash just south of Fergus Falls Friday evening.

Otter Tail County authorities say the crash happened on the 16000 block of 215th Avenue at about 9 p.m.

An SUV apparently rolled several times. Police found the vehicle on its roof.

The driver and one passenger were both ejected from the SUV. They were taken to Lake Region Hospital with serious injuries. Both eventually died as a result of their injuries.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
