MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) –Joshua Allen VanHoutan, 26, of Coon Rapids, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Monday in Anoka County Court for his role in the death of his 5-month-old daughter in May 2011.

VanHoutan’s daughter died as a result of injuries consistent with being shaken.

Sentencing for VanHoutan is scheduled for Sept. 12.
