MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A man is dead after succumbing to his injuries from a June 29 severe beating.

Police say officers responded to a call around 9:30 p.m. June 29 to 18th and Bryant avenues north. Upon arrival, they found an adult man who had been badly beaten on the street.

The man was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he died on July 7. The man’s identity and cause of death will be released at a later time.

Police say officers arrested a male teenager on July 5, in connection with the assault. That same day, an adult man also turned himself in to authorities and was arrested.
