Log Rolling A Featured Event At Wannigan Days

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The western Wisconsin towns of St. Croix Falls and Taylors Falls are celebrating 54 years of Wannigan Days this weekend.

There are a full slate of events going on, from a 5K run to live music and fireworks. But perhaps the featured event of the weekend is a log rolling event on the river.

Event-goers can compete against one another, or just simply try to stay on the log without falling in the water. WCCO-TV's Jamie Yuccas tried her luck at it. She got off to a rough start, but eventually started to get the hang of it.
