ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – Three people suffered substantial injuries and authorities are looking for a group of suspects after an assault at a St. Cloud bar Saturday morning, according to police.

St. Cloud Police were called to the Press Bar on the 500 block of St. Germaine Street West at about 1:46 a.m. Saturday on a report of an assault. When authorities arrived, a 34-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman from Plymouth and a 25-year-old woman from Sauk Rapids had all been assaulted by an unknown group of black women and one black man.

Police said the male victim also had his cell phone taken during the incident. Police said no weapons were used during the assault and all three victims were taken to the hospital for substantial, but non-life threatening injuries.

The incident is under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call St. Cloud Police at (32) 251-1200 or Crime Stoppers at (320) 255-1301.
