MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say one person is recovering from smoke inhalation after a late night fire in Minneapolis.
Fire crews responded to a report of an apartment fire at about 11 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Aldrich Avenue and 25th Street in south Minneapolis. When authorities arrived, they were able to put the fire out quickly.
Authorities said damage was limited to just one of the building’s eight units. One person was hospitalized with smoke inhalation. Authorities say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
