CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) — A longtime St. Louis-area teacher is jailed and facing charges of rape and statutory sodomy.

Donald Ingerson was arrested and charged on Monday in St. Louis County. He is jailed on $300,000 cash-only bond and does not yet have a listed attorney.

St. Louis County Police spokesman Rick Eckhard says an investigation found two victims, and authorities are urging other potential victims to come forward.

Ingerson is 67. He taught in the St. Louis region from the 1960s through the 1990s, though Eckhard did not say where. He now lives in Ely, Minn.
