MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A $1,000 reward is being offered for information on the suspected murder of a 26-year-old woman in Minneapolis last month.
Minneapolis Police say officers found Adelaida Lane with gunshot wounds on July 14 after responding to a shooting at 1710 Glenwood Avenue North. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office deemed her death a homicide.
The suspect in the case is 23-year-old Giovanni Mario Dotts, police say. Police are seeking the public’s help in finding him. He is described as 5-feet, 10-inches-tall, with a medium build and black hair. He is pictured above.
Sgt. Stephen McCarty said Dotts and Lane had a relationship prior to her death.
If you see Dotts, or know where he is, call 911 immediately. Do not approach him, police say.
