West Nile Affecting 10 Minnesotans

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The number of Minnesotans getting sick this summer from the West Nile Virus is growing.

The health department says 10 people have now gotten ill or tested positive for the disease in nine counties.

That's the highest number of cases in four years. Health experts say that wasn't unexpected.

Due to the heat, there has been an uptick in the number of mosquitoes.
