ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – The largest free Irish Fair in the US hit the Twin Cities this weekend. People came out to Harriet Island in St. Paul starting on Friday night to enjoy music, dancing, and food.

Maria Flynn Conway, they past chair of the Irish Fair, spoke of what folks can expect at the fest.

“The Irish culture is a welcoming culture. We love everyone down on Harriet Island…it’s a very family friendly, fun event,” said Conway. “We have our headliners tonight, The Young Dubliners. We have mass tomorrow – nice in this weather, nice break,” she said.

Irish Fair activities continue through Sunday. Admission is free
