MANKATO, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota dentists will provide free care to as many as 2,000 people at a mass clinic in Mankato on Friday and Saturday.

The two-day clinic at the Verizon Wireless Center is open to adults and children of all ages who can’t get dental treatment because they’re uninsured or underinsured, but don’t have medical conditions that would interfere like diabetes or extremely high blood pressure. No IDs or other documents are required, though children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The clinic will be staffed by more than 1,000 volunteers. There’s no advance registration. It’s first come, first served. The doors open at 5:30 a.m., and early arrival is encouraged.

Sponsors include the Minnesota Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Foundation and the Delta Dental of Minnesota Foundation.
