BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) – Two students at Bloomington Jefferson High School earned perfect scores on their ACT college entrance exams.
According to the high school, Michael Blazanin and Samuel Wagner both achieved perfect scores of 36 on the ACT. Wagner also earned a perfect 2,400 on his SAT entrance exam.
Of the estimated 1.6 million students who took various college entrance exams this year, only 734 received perfect scores on their ACT tests, and only 384 received perfect scores on their SAT exams, according to high school officials.
“This academic achievement is evidence of both hard work and high abilities in a very rigorous high school program,” said Jefferson High School Principal Steve Hill. “We’re very proud of Michael and Sam.”
