St. Paul Man Dies After 'Car Surfing' In Wis.

OAKLAND, Wis. (WCCO) -- A St. Paul man is dead and a driver is facing charges after a "car surfing" accident in Wisconsin.

The Burnett County Sheriff's Department says 21-year-old Shawn Swanson was killed around 11:30 p.m. Saturday in Oakland, Wis.

Officers say Swanson was riding on top of an SUV when he fell off and hit the road.

Police arrested the driver, 21-year-old Cole Fohrenkamm, also of St. Paul.

He's facing possible charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
