ROGERS, Minn. (WCCO) – A teenage male and female, both 17 years old, were charged with one count each of aggravated robbery in the first degree by the Hennepin County Attorney.
The charges stem from the August 14 robbery of the SuperAmerica on 21550 Diamond Lake Road South, where the 17-year-old male threatened the cashier with what was later identified as a BB gun. As he fled the store with the stolen money, he was tackled by a customer and held until Rogers Police arrived soon after.
The 17-year-old female, who was driving the male, was arrested near the area.
The male is from Fridley, and the female is from Shoreview.
Both teens are currently in custody.
