JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — The parent company of the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal in Tupelo is buying the Mississippi Business Journal in Jackson.

MBJ reported the news Tuesday on its website. The weekly business publication had been owned by the Dolan Co., based in Minneapolis.

Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

With the addition of MBJ to its portfolio, Journal Inc. will publish 20 weekly newspapers as well as the Tupelo daily. Journal Inc. is owned by the nonprofit CREATE Foundation, based in Tupelo.
