HOPKINS, Minn. (WCCO) – Hopkins police are asking for help identifying an armed robbery suspect.

At 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 25, officers responded to an armed robbery at the Walgreens on Black Road North.

Police say the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash after displaying a handgun and demanding money.

He is described as a light-skinned black male, about 5-feet-10-inches tall and a thin build. He was wearing a dark blue jean jacket, a black hat, black shoes and jeans. The suspect also reportedly had a mustache or goatee.

A store employee was slightly injured during the robbery.
