MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Welcome to the kickoff of the 2012 Vikings season. WCCO’s Mark Rosen and Mike Max were live from Mall of America Field with plenty of questions to be answered in Sunday’s opener against Jacksonville.

The biggest storyline, one which has enveloped this organization since he went down on Christmas Eve last year with an ACL tear — the status of star running
back Adrian Peterson. He has said all along he would be ready for today’s opener and now the Vikings have made it official.
