MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The signs of fall are everywhere. Kids are back in school, the leaves are already changing, and the parking ramp at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is full.
Airport officials say the ramp at Terminal 1 (Lindbergh) is at or near capacity again Wednesday, as it was Tuesday. Airport spokesman Pat Hogan said it’s a seasonal thing.
“We’re getting back into the time period where you have more people who are traveling for business,” Hogan said. “When that happens, the parking at Terminal 1 does end up filling up at some point, especially during the middle of the week.”
Hogan said we can expect crowded parking for the next several weeks.
MSP has real-time parking info on their website, and Hogan said you can always park at Terminal 2 (Humphrey) and take a free light-rail trip to the main terminal.
