NOWTHEN, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities are investigating after a fire caused significant damage to a pole barn in western Minnesota on Monday.
Fire crews were called to the area of 223rd and Xenon in the town of Nowthen at about 1 p.m. on a report of a fire. Authorities said by about 1:40, the fire was under control but that the barn suffered significant damage.
Authorities say nobody was hurt in the fire and the cause is still under investigation. Fire departments from Ramsey, Andover, Oak Grove, Bethel and Anoka-Champlin assisted at the scene for mutual aid.
