Sabo Bridge Closed For Repairs Until Dec.
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Sabo bike and pedestrian bridge in Minneapolis is closed again to make final repairs.
Support cables on the bridge broke loose last winter. Workers will be installing and retrofitting plates on the bridge that are designed to hold up to the wind fatigue that caused the cracking.
The bridge will be closed until early December.
Walkers and cyclists will have to use the intersection at 28th Street and Hiawatha Avenue until then.
