MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Charlie Brown is coming to the big screen.
The animated Peanuts characters, created by Minnesota-native Charles Schulz, will star in their own movie, as Schulz’s son Craig and grandson, Bryan, helped write the screenplay.
The animated film doesn’t have a name yet and is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 25.
The release coincides with the 65th anniversary of the Peanuts comic strip, and the 50th anniversary of “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
