MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minnesota Lynx fans will have the opportunity to get free tickets Wednesday morning to Game 1 of the WNBA Finals on Sunday, and have the Minnesota Vikings to thank for it.

The Vikings announced they have purchased 500 upper-level tickets for Game 1, which will be Sunday at the Target Center. Fans looking to win free tickets should call (612) 673-8400 starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday. Officials said the first 250 fans that call in can win up to two tickets, courtesy of the Vikings.

The Lynx are in the WNBA Finals for the second straight year after beating the Los Angeles Sparks in the Western Conference Finals. They will play the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals, where the Connecticut Sun and the Indiana Fever have their best-of-three series tied at one game apiece.

Game 1 of the WNBA Finals is set for 7 p.m. Sunday at the Target Center.
