SHERBURNE COUNTY, Minn. (WCCO) – Sherburne County authorities need the public’s help with any information concerning recent electrical wire theft from irrigation systems.

The country sheriff’s office has recently received complaints that the large gauge wire, which has copper contained within, has been stolen from farm irrigation units on agriculatural fields in rural areas, presumably to be sold to make money off of the copper.

If anyone has information, they are encouraged to contact Tri County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-255-1301 or the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office at 763-765-3500.
