MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 16-year-old boy from Chaska will be laid to rest on Monday after he was shot and killed by an arrow in an accident last week.

Spencer Swanson died last week after he was shot in the head by an arrow. Police said the tragic accident happened as he was biking towards his friend’s house, and he was shot by his best friend.

Visitation for Swanson will begin at 10 a.m. at the Waterbrooke Fellowship Church in Victoria. The funeral starts at noon. A trust fund has been set up to help Swanson’s family, which is at the BMO Harris Bank in Chanhassen.
