MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities have identified the man hit and killed by a vehicle who left the scene of the crash Saturday morning in Minneapolis.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the victim Monday as Austin Remmel Conley, a 20-year-old from Minneapolis.

The incident happened at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of 1st Avenue and 3rd Street in downtown Minneapolis. Authorities said Conley died of multiple blunt force injuries associated with the crash later Saturday night.

Police say the driver of the car left the scene after the crash. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call Minneapolis Police.
