CHASKA, Minn. (WCCO) – Families looking to get out and have some fun on Halloween should head to the southwest metro.
The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is hosting a Halloween Fun Day with plenty of activities for families with young children. Everyone is encouraged to get dressed up in their favorite costume. WCCO-TV’s Chris Stanford even dressed up for the event as Clark Kent through recommendations from Facebook and Twitter.
The arboretum is completely decorated in Halloween decor and pumpkins. Admission to the event is free if you show up in costume, and it’s a great way to introduce families to the arboretum. Workers there said there will be trick-or-treating for apples in the gift store, and there will be story-telling at 10:30 a.m.
