MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Metro Transit will once again be offering free bus and light rail rides to Minnesota Timberwolves fans before and after every home game this forthcoming season, according to the team.

All fans will need on them is a ticket proving they are going to or were just at the game that day.

Rides are free up to two hours on either side of the game, the Timberwolves said.

The Timberwolves open their regular season at home Friday evening against the Sacramento Kings. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. at Target Center.
