DODGE CENTER, Minn. (WCCO) – Three people were killed when two vehicles struck head-on in Dodge County, Minn. Tuesday evening.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Highway 14 west of Dodge Center.
A GMC Sierra traveling east and a Chevy Suburban going west collided, killing the drivers of both vehicles. They were identified as 50-year-old Scott Hodgman, of West Concord, Minn., and 43-year-old Jack Reich, of Zap, N.D.
The State Patrol said there were two other people in the second vehicle. One of them — 10-year-old Vander Reich — also died in the crash, but 39-year-old Mardee Reich sustained non-life threatening injuries.
It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the two vehicles to crash. Road conditions were reportedly wet in the area.
