Red Kettle Drive Kicks Off With Record-Setting Day
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Twin Cities Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign Kick Off -- Rock the Red Kettle raised $108,958.76 in just one day.
"Last year was a great kickoff event, we raised $65,000 that was a record at that time, and when we put the goal at $108,000, we were a little concerned, but we did it," Spokeswoman Annette Bauer said.

Bauer says there are more than 100,000 hours of bell ringing left in the season which runs through Dec. 24.
