MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Residents in Mounds View, Minn. are dealing with low to no water pressure after a water main broke in the city.
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office said they received about 460 calls between 11:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. regarding the low water pressure.
Some residents reported having no water pressure at all.
The city’s public works office was called.
They, along with Ramsey County, worked to resolve the situation.
Nick DeBar, the public works director for the city of Mounds View, said a faulty valve was the cause of the problem but public works employees were able to bypass the valve and restore full pressure.
Residents should have had their pressure restored by around noon Sunday.
