GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay Packers won’t have star linebacker Clay Matthews for Sunday’s game against NFC North rival Minnesota as he recovers from a hamstring injury.
The Packers listed Matthews as out on their injury report Friday. In his place will be undrafted rookie Dezman Moses, who has seized his opportunity to give Green Bay another disruptive pass rusher.
Moses has come up with a sack in each of the last two games, forced a fumble on one of those and had a team-high 11 tackles in the Packers’ loss to the New York Giants on Sunday.
The Packers are expected to have receiver Greg Jennings on the field for the first time in two months after surgery for a torn abdominal muscle.
