RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WCCO) — Police in Wisconsin arrested a man after he dialed 911, possibly by accident, and started talking about how he hoped the police didn’t catch him drinking and driving.

According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, the man was driving early Saturday morning in western Wisconsin.

The man’s 911 call was intercepted by a dispatcher, who then used an enhanced system to track the man’s vehicle via global positioning.

The car was traced to River Falls, Wis., where police were able to stop the car at about 2:20 a.m.

Police said the 21-year-old driver blew a 0.11.

He was arrested and ticketed for drinking and driving.
