MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis Police hope releasing photos of a suspect in an apparent sexual assault on Saturday will lead to an arrest in the case.

Police said a sexual assault occurred at about 3 a.m. Saturday in the area of 34th Street East and Chicago Avenue. When authorities arrived, a 33-year-old woman told police she was followed off a bus by a man and was then sexually assaulted by him. She told police she did not know the man.

Police released photos Wednesday morning of the man they believe is responsible in the incident. He is described as a 30 to 40-year-old black man with a thin moustache and possibly a goatee.
