MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Let Ricky Rubio nation rejoice.

The Spanish phenom is expected to play Saturday night for the Timberwolves against Dallas at the Target Center. It’ll be his first time on the floor since tearing his ACL and LCL back in March, 2012.

“I’m excited to get back on the floor with my teammates and play in front of the best fans in the NBA at Target Center,” Rubio said. “After a long recovery, this is the first step in me getting back on the court and helping my teammates. Thank you to the fans for their support over the last nine months.”

Timberwolves President Chris Wright says people are already staring to line up for tickets for tonight’s game.

“Do not go down at 7 p.m. and expect there won’t be lines,” he said. “There will be tremendous lines tonight, so please go down early and get into the arena as early as you possible can.”

A number of marquee games are coming up for the team, including Miami, and both LA teams.
