APPLETON, Minn. (WCCO) - The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has issued a crime alert after a female was abducted in Appleton, Minn.
A young-looking female of unknown age was seen being put in a dark colored Explorer-type SUV at Highway 7 and Miles Street. Including the driver, there were at least three passengers in the vehicle. The female was wearing a white, poofy coat with her hood up, black pants and a white hat.
Witnesses saw one passenger of the SUV get out, who is a heavy set white male, approximately 250-280 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, dark colored pants and white shoes.
The driver was identified as a white male who was wearing a t-shirt. Both the driver and a third passenger remained in the vehicle.
The SUV was last seen heading south on Highway 7.
