MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Minneapolis home that’s known by millions around the world — even though nothing significant actually happened inside it — is now up for sale.
It’s a house along Kenwood Parkway in south Minneapolis that was in the opening credits of The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
A set was created for the interior of Mary Richards’ and Rhoda Morgenstern’s apartments.
According to its listing, the 1900s era house has been renovated into a single-family house with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
Its listing price is a cool $2.8 million, probably because of its location, not its 1970′s fame. It measures 9,500 square feet.
