MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A labor contract covering 12,000 Twin Cities nurses has been approved.

Minnesota Nurses Association members approved an agreement that will give then a 4.5 percent wage increase over the next three years.

The nurses work at 13 facilities in the metro area, including Children’s Hospitals and Clinics, Allina, Fairview, HealthEast, North Memorial Medical Center and Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital.

The health care systems are represented by the Minnesota Hospitals Association.
