MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — One man is in the hospital after an early morning shooting in St. Louis Park.

St. Louis Park Police say they responded to an apartment complex on the 7200 block of Walker Street early Sunday morning.

Upon arrival, they found a man was injured in a shooting around 1:20 a.m. and was transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The incident occurred during a gathering in the party room of an apartment complex.

Police say there is no suspect information available at this time. They say there is no threat to the general public.

The investigation is ongoing.
