MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — One man is in jail after a man and a woman were found shot at a home in Grand Rapids, Minn.
The Grand Rapids Police responded to a shooting on the 500 block of 10th Avenue Northwest around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Upon arrival, they discovered that a man and a woman had been shot. Officers were able to locate the suspect and arrest him.
William Levy Payne, 26, of Bovey, Minn., is currently in the Itasca County Jail, awaiting formal charges that are expected Monday.
The two victims were transported to a Duluth area hospital in critical condition. They have been identified as 32-year-old Paul Russell Johnson and 59-year-old Rosemary Oberg-Johnson, both of Grand Rapids.
The incident remains under investigation.
