CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Minn. (WCCO) – The Eagan woman who died on Christmas Day in a head-on crash in Chippewa County has been identified as 62-year-old Janet Scoblic, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
Scoblic died after her Saturn Vue crossed the center line on Highway 7, south of Watson, Minn., in the southwestern part of the state.
Her car hit head-on with a Jeep Cherokee carrying Levi Windingstad, 26, and David Windingstad, 55, both of Morris, Minn.
The Windingstads both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating.
