ESTERO, Fla. (AP) — Six players scored a goal apiece as Ferris State beat Minnesota-Duluth in the consolation game at the Florida College Classic.
Kyle Bonis added an assist Saturday to help the Bulldogs (7-9-3) snap a four-game losing streak. That included a 5-3 tournament loss to Cornell on Friday.
Adam Krause and Caleb Hebert scored for UMD (7-10-3), which led 2-1 after one period. But Ferris State scored the game’s last five goals.
Minnesota-Duluth, which lost 1-0 to Main on Friday, got 20 saves from goalie Aaron Crandall and Matt McNeely. McNeely had 16 saves in the first two periods.
Charles Williams made 23 saves for Ferris State.
