MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 34-year-old man is charged with second-degree murder after police say he stabbed a man who later died from his injuries.
Police say Rick Martinez, also known as Andrew Riyhadh Terrell, was charged with one count of second-degree murder on Monday. He is currently at the Hennepin County Jail.

Officers were dispatched to an apartment building around 5:30 p.m. Saturday on a call of a stabbing. The apartment building is located at 5754 33rd Ave. S.
When officers arrived, they found a man with life-threatening injuries, who appeared to have been stabbed.
He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center where he died several hours later.
Officers spoke with witnesses and located key evidence at the scene. Martinez was arrested on Sunday after he returned to the apartment building and was detained by neighbors.
