SHOREVIEW, Minn. (WCCO) – A woman was found deceased after crews worked to extinguish a house fire in Shoreview Monday morning.

According to authorities, the fire broke out at a residence on the 1000 block of Richmond Court.

Crews had a difficult time fighting the fire because there was a lot of stuff stored in the house from the floor to the ceiling.

The amount of debris in the house made it difficult for crews to locate the victim, who was described as a woman in her 50s. She was not immediately identified.

Crews from the Vadnais Heights and New Brighton fire departments also assisted at the scene.
