BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) — Western Michigan and Bemidji State skated to a 2-2 tie Saturday in men’s college hockey.

Dane Walters scored the game-tying goal for Western Michigan.

Bemidji State (5-11-4) led 2-0 with one period to play on goals by Danny Mattson and Cory Ward. WMU’s Kenney Morrison scored at 5:37 on the power play and Walters followed with the equalizer.

Frank Slubowski made 20 saves for WMU (12-5-3), including two in overtime. Bemidji State goalie Andrew Walsh had three of his 33 saves in OT.
