MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — For the second time this year, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be without star forward Kevin Love for an extended period of time due to injury.
After missing the start of the 2012-13 season due to an injury to his shooting hand, Love will once again be in street clothes as he’ll have surgery to repair the third and fourth metacarpal in his right hand.
He’ll be sidelined for eight to 10 weeks, the team said.
He was leading the team in scoring (18.3 ppg), rebounds (14. rpg) and double-doubles (14).
