MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police have charged a 31-year-old Minneapolis man with the late December stabbing death of a 43-year-old woman.
The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office charged Honora Tremaine Patterson with second-degree murder in the death of Lolitta Marie Malone, after Malone was found with dead multiple sharp force injuries at her home on the 2300 block of Queen Avenue North.
Investigators say several items found at the scene were processed by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for DNA samples and indicated a strong possibility that both the victim and the defendant’s DNA were on the items.
Patterson is currently at the Hennepin County Jail.
