MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Nicholas David has a powerful voice and an even more interesting personality.

David stopped by WCCO Radio as a guest on “News and Views.” He shared his experience of what it was like as a contestant on “The Voice”

“It was the experience of a life time, the opportunity unimaginable — the best music school I’ve ever been to,” David said.

David came in third place in the competition. He said it was exciting to watch all the activity.

“You meet such a colorful cast of characters. You meet so many parts of this moving wheel — that is the Voice, from the transpo, to the PA’s to the producers, to the executive producers, to vocal coaches … to everything,” He said. “They’re all so necessary.”

The 32-year-old lives in Eagan, and is expecting his third child soon. He says he’s looking forward to whatever comes next as he continues to write songs.

“This show opened many, many doors for us, so now it’s time for us to like get our breath, get centered and see where to go with all the opportunities that have been presented,” he said.
